The things to do in La Clusaz in winter holidays

The La Clusaz Les Confins holiday village in the Haute-Savoie is an ideal base for your travels around the Northern Alps ! The Alpine ski area of La Clusaz links 5 mountain ranges, racking up a total 125 km of slopes. But if you’re dreaming of an even larger playground, the Aravis mountains Alpine ski area (which links the ski resorts of La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt by shuttle) has a range of snow sports on offer, with 210 km of slopes.
Life isn’t all about skiing here ! The whole region is rich in tourist sites which are well worth a visit on one of your rest days. Within the La Clusaz ski resort, why not visit the village and the crystal glassworks. The Reblochon cheese dairy cooperative in Thônes, which produces THE cheese of the Haute-Savoie, will entrust you with the secrets of how it's made. Further afield, Annecy, Chamonix and Geneva are great places to do some window shopping in the narrow streets of the old towns. If you prefer to go to higher ground, the Sea of Ice and the Aiguille du Midi mountain (80 km away) are truly breathtaking experiences !
